I managed to squeeze some time to blog , right before the spiders are moving in here. Oh right, I going to do a summary for today's sermon. It's very interesting as today's sermon is separated into genders.
The 7th Commandment of the day is
"THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY". -by Sister Wan Ping-what exactly is adultery?Definition: Adultry is a volunteery sexual relation between a married person with someone other than his spouse. -what is considered adultery? Besides physically, looking at a woman lustfully(having strong sexual desires) is also committing adultery!(matthew5:27-29)-what is the marriage?It is a
commitment that both party promise each other that they'll have no other spouses other then each other.
-why is there such a commandment?God wants us to enjoy sex within the context of marriage.-what is true love?True love is one of giving and restraint. Dramas on television screens premarital sex 90% of the time!!-why people commit adultery?The main reason is because men and women are created differently! Especially for girls, they are willing to exchange their body for romance closeness. Even though its a one night stand.
There is five big lies that girls led themselves to this sinful act . #1-I NEED A BOYFRIEND
Survey has shown that 68% of girls say their lives would be better with a boyfriend. Is that so? In Philippians 4:11-13 says that we should learn to be contented in every stage we're in and we can do anything with Christ given strength. we shouldn't ponder on why Mr. right is not here yet as in Jeremiah 29-11, the Lord know the plans for us and he knows when is the good and bad time for a man to enter in our(girl's) life.
#2-YOU ARE STILL A VIRGIN?
Virginity is a gift of God that is meant to be given to your spouse on your wedding day. It is also a gift that CANNOT BE RETRIEVED!! If you're non-virginity friends mock you being a virgin, you'll simply reply "I'm virgin, better than you! " .
#3-MY FRIENDS ALSO HAVE BOYFRIENDS AND THEY ARE OK WITH SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR
Its is totally NOT OKAY!! Friends will say that you're being traditional, narrow-minded. In 1 cor 1:18, God's words always appears ridiculous to non-believers. Research shows that we come into contact with 70 000 people in a life time. However, there's only one real true friend who will never leave you. That is JESUS!! I learn a new word!! The word is sanctification. It is a process which ongoing change to holiness. Holy means to set apart us;different from the sinful world around us and be like god.
#4-HAVING A BOYFRIEND IS OK AS LONG AS WE DON'T HAVE SEX?
& #5-EMOTIONAL CLOSENESS IS THE GOAL OF ROMANCE(GIRLS)
God does not want us to 'awaken love' until the time is right. There is a certain time for certain things. In songs of Solomon 2:7, 'do not arouse or awaken love until it is so desire' .This is because being in a relationship for as long as over six months, temptations to sex is super duper strong.
-when is the right time to go into a relationship?
The right time is when you're independent. Being independent means that you can depend on yourself to live on your own.
-HOW GIRLS CAN HELP GUYS TO FIGHT AGAINST LUST?-by Pastor Daniel~DRESSINGWearing clothes highlighting feminine parts like shoulder, cleavages etc.. is also attracting lust! Even though you say 'but I wear t-shirt only mahs,where can attract lust?' well, you're totally wrong!! Because wearing a tight fitting clothes can even MAKE GUYS GO CRAZY!! Its weird how when a couple react to a sexy advertisement. The guy would glue his eyes onto the model on the advertisement and the girl would want to be the model in the advertisement. I found out that a lady could make a man do anything she wants by the wear she dress!! The power of seduction !!~HOW YOU INTERACT PHYSICALLY WITH GUYSAnything that ' HINTS' at sex outside of marriage is wrong!! Control your body! Don't act like those girls school where "hugging with anyone is normal".I don't get it why guys are so attracted by flesh?!!Its amazing how the guys have the ability to strip you naked in their mind !! Even though you(girl) are wearing shorts, they'll get super excited.In 1 cor 8:9, sex exists in two forms. The first from is mental and the second form is physically. Its super freaky how the mind of a guy works. Just go out with a bunch of guys for a day then you'll understand how the guys see things in their perspective.+END OF SERMON+Fervour had dinner at AL-MEEN!! I wished Clare and Colin was here.The food there is ok. Compared to Planet Prata at Gomak, I prefer the one at Gomak. On the way home, Keith, Randy, Daniel and I exchanged notes. (by right,we shouldn't. but by left,we did it!)I was really curious on what Pastor Daniel preached to them about. Randy mentioned Pastor Daniel said 'Girls are God made error'. No way!! Also, he mentioned God did not create Adam and Steve. I totally agree!! Looking at the same gender falling in love is totally disgusting. That's all folks=)
